high angle cv joints

has anyone ever looked into these for lowered 4x4s? or am i looking at the wrong things i fig if they will help for lifting they should for lowering... are these even for our trucks ?

On trucks with large lifts, and short driveshafts, the u-joint angles become too severe for the shaft to live. So, these high-angle double-cardan "CV" shafts alleviate that problem.

I haven't see a truck lowered enough to need something like this. At least, not in my neck of the woods.
