Default here's what I want to know

First thing is I have yet to see any of the rags do any testing or comparisons with a 010 xcab 6.2 4x4 3.73,if anyone has links that would be great,i see old tests with 09 cc 3.42 gears.

What i want to know is stock 1/4 mile times, then 1/4 times with a tune and then headers, might as well toss in a cam and head test, then maybe a SC in the end or T set up

Im just surprised these have been out for a few months and not even a Gtech report.

I think 6.2 Mark here is on his way for the kind of testing results im looking forward to.
Appreciate all who post here,thanks

i should not even be poking around on this GMT900 section,my truck is perfectly fine,my problem is I like the latest and greatest, and like modding starting with the most availible power,6.2 seems like a beast and the 6sp trans cant hurt.I have a hunch a header and cam and tuned truck may run 12.9999,that would be impressive.

It would be interesting to see what kind of numbers they put down stock, then modded.

I think I can go 12.999999 without a CAM. There is a 5,800lb 08' AWD Yukon Denali (weight w/driver) running 12.5's with a CAM and typical bolton's minus UD Pulley (no stall).

I weigh 600lbs less

My old 07' 2wd Sierra Denali ran 13.87@99.91 with tune, intake, and catback...That truck ran 15.0 bone stock...

thats MOVING for a mild mod truck.

i think with a 3000 stall you could have seen 13.2-13.3 very easy then ad LTs youd be 13.0-13.1

Good choice on the header size, i'm trying to keep my Tq peak at lower rpm since it's a heavy truck and I tow. I have single 3.5'' but thinking about trying a single 3'' to see the difference at the track and on the dyno Many aftermarket exhaust companies going with smaller than stock size pipe on these 6.2's..Most of them are 3'', hell Borla is using a 2.75'' headpipe on their Sierra Denali kit. Maybe they are right and the exhaust needs a little more velocity...May help my 60'

The hangers are in a different location on my Ext Cab...
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=458003

I'm pretty sure I'll end up back in the 3.5'' if get an aftermarket CAM... I'm going to convert my factory headpipe flange and make a single 3'' exhaust. Nothing fancy just cheap and simple for testing. If the single 3'' performs better overall I will buy something nice...
