I saw an article in a magazine about the Hercules Terra Trac II tires and they rated it high on performance but relatively low on brand recognition. Through the years I've had Hercules tires on a few different vehicles and they were always solid value tires. They are an Ohio based company that has Cooper do their manufacturing for them. After reading the article I searched for a local retailer. I called a Cooper dealer and asked about Hercules and he happened to have a set in the size I needed. The tread pattern is similar to the Cooper ATP. Deep tread and fairly aggressive and look like they'd handle standing water well. The ride quality seems good and noise level is good as well. Overall a good value brand that many here probably haven't considered. I know the cooper AT3 is popular but I actually prefer the Hercules tread pattern more.
