HELP truck wont start
#1
Well im new here and having a problem with my truck last night i ported and polished my throttle body and had to of course remove the throttle body from the intake after i got the throttle body all done and plugged everything back in i started it and it idled very choppy as if it had a bigger cam so i unplugged my battery and plugged it back in and it started just fine drove it and killed it and tried to start it directly after and it did the same thing only idled smoothly and wouldnt go over 2500 rpm so again i unhooked my battery got it to where it would run better also keeping in mind the first and second time i tried to start it the throttle wouldnt work and now when i turn the key on the oil pressure reads 80lbs and fuel pump wont come on and wont turn over occasionally does but never attempts to fire is my pcm on lock down ??? and Ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks. and also i just got a nelson tune thinking switching out the pcm and tcm would help its still doing the same thing even after the security relearn just cranks but i cant ever hear the fuel pump kick on and sometimes it seems as if it vaguely attempts to start but never does

well when i first got the pcm and tcm from nelson i just put them in and tried to start it to see if the same problem occured with the old ones and it did the exact same thing just turns over for about 5 seconds but never starts

and when i did all of that i took it to the dealership and they replaced the throttle body and the tps sensor and told me when i unplugged or plugged the sensor in i shorted the computer out so i was gonna need a new one i told them i would just get a custom tune it would be cheaper anyways so thats where i am now, installed new pcm and tcm and still doin the exact same thing i pulled every fuse and switched every relay and also i noticed a blackish residue on the fuse prongs(damn near every one of them) idk what thats a sign of ?

Where did you get the PCM is it a brand new PCM and programmed with the correct VIN for your truck. Same with the TCM.
The codes you have are very odd based off of numbers you gave.
0010 cam position actuator circuit
0018 ECT low voltage
0315 CKP not learned (This is normal with a new PCM)
1516 TAC module position performance
2101 TAC module position performance
0353 Ignition coil 3 control circuit.
Are the service numbers of the OLD PCM and TCM identical number for number on the replacements you installed.
I'm leaning towards incorrect PCM/ or internal calibrations.
