Codes read:
cylinder 6 misfire and the TCC light comes on.

They both go off together. It happens if it idles for any period of time. What are the things i should explore?

Thanks in advance.

What mileage are you at?
Any drivability issues when this happens? Like loss of power or rough running?

no it wouldnt be a clogged cat otherwise you'd have issues on that whole bank and itd be under load conditions
check the spark plugs for the misfire, at 60K you'd probly be due, I know book says 100 but thats not real life haha
the TCC issue, no codes? throttle still works properly? no shifting issues?

A clogged cat at 60k, probably not. Also that would not cause only one cylinder to misfire.

The svc traction control lamp is coming on because the pcm disables it under certain condition when various trouble codes are set. A misfire DTC is one of those codes.

Basic trouble shooting does it have spark and does it have fuel use a noid light to check for injector pulses. If it has those then you gotta go deeper but that's where you start at.
