HELP!!!!!!!!! A/C Belt Replacement - Without Tensioner

Swapping cam, get to the A/C Belt removal before removing crank pulley and I do NOT have a belt tensioner on my A/C belt. I plan to put on a Ud pulley once the cam work is finished so should I just get the belt off any means necessary and then buy an ideler pulley for the A/C belt or what is the trick here?

Help a brother out!

Cut it off
Buy tensioner and bolts for any 4.8 5.3 6.0 from 2000 to 2006

I cut mine off
Then going back on I used socket and ratchet to turn crank and a screwdriver to walk the new stretch belt on.
When it comes time to do udp like you ill probly buy the tensioner and bolts like mentioned

its so easy to just put a tensioner and belt for the older style motors imho.

Sounds like a plan. From what i see on SLP's website there is only one accesory belt listed, so my truck would need a tensioner regardless to utilize the pulley and have A/C.

Installed a NBS pulley, worked as told it would. Interesting video from Dayco.
