HELP!!!!!!!!! A/C Belt Replacement - Without Tensioner
Swapping cam, get to the A/C Belt removal before removing crank pulley and I do NOT have a belt tensioner on my A/C belt. I plan to put on a Ud pulley once the cam work is finished so should I just get the belt off any means necessary and then buy an ideler pulley for the A/C belt or what is the trick here?

Cut it off
Buy tensioner and bolts for any 4.8 5.3 6.0 from 2000 to 2006 |
I cut mine off
Then going back on I used socket and ratchet to turn crank and a screwdriver to walk the new stretch belt on. When it comes time to do udp like you ill probly buy the tensioner and bolts like mentioned |

its so easy to just put a tensioner and belt for the older style motors imho.

Sounds like a plan. From what i see on SLP's website there is only one accesory belt listed, so my truck would need a tensioner regardless to utilize the pulley and have A/C.
