Actually in this case, no it won't have 317's namely because the OP is not looking at LQ4's. He said 2007+.

5364 would be a good casting to go after really or 823. Forget the L76 with it's active fuel management garbage and aluminum block and grab an LY6 or L96 out of a 3/4 ton or 1 ton. Same L92 heads, and top end but an iron block and only variable cam timing to deal with. Not to mention more than likely much cheaper to purchase as the L76 would be seen as a more "performance" oriented platform even though in reality it's not. Mostly because it came out of a Vortec max or even worse being a G8 GT. Yards will charge a premium for that versus the boring old LY6 out of a 1 ton, lol.
