I'm looking for a new hood for my '13 GMC Sierra 1500. The recent hail storm cratered my factory hood so I am in the market for a Cowl Hood. Anybody got any ideas for a Cowl Hood?
Looking for suggestion and locations of my new hood.
Should fit 07-13 GMC Sierra 1500, prefer Steel but I'm open to fiberglass or carbon fiber, price not really a factor if it looks nice.

There are a lot of company's in a Google search. I looked a couple years ago and there are many more options for your year model as opposed to mine. Bet you find what you want. Also some stock ones on car-part.com.

 

Fiberglass or Steel, Pro's Con's?
I've narrowed it down to two (2) hoods and as luck would have it, one is steel and one is Fiberglass. One is change the hardware and bolt on and the other is Change the hardware-shim & trim accordingly and then bolt on. One is a Non-Functioning Cowl and the other is a Functioning Cowl.
I also thought about bonding a fake hood scoop on it, seen one that fits in the center portion of the GMC Hood and looks really nice. It was from Street Scene but I cant find it on their website, not even sure if they are still in business.
