People questioned my financial smarts when I got this truck also, though your case was WAY more extreme than mine. My '09 had about 16k miles on it and people wondered why I traded a basically new truck. They didn't understand the 6.2 was so much better than the 5.3, then there is the 6L80E, 14-bolt rear end w/disc brakes, etc etc. Also like you I came out on top with 1 yr less on my loan and $50 less per month. This was on a truck with a 7k dollar higher sticker too. If you have an insider at a dealership (I do also), take care of your vehicles, and have great credit you can get things you want very easily.

Yeah it's definitely nice. I was supposed to get my dream car this spring (used C6 Z06) but I broke my Jeep so my wife wanted me to replace it with a pickup truck. A 2011 6.2 4x4 fit the bill perfectly; if I have to replace my 4x4, I might as well get one with over 400 horsepower

850? A credit score of 700 is considered by most banks to be perfect. A 750 is almost impossible to get from what Ive seen. Im not saying its not true by anymeans, but I would have to see a credit score of 850 to believe it. Your DTI must be zero and past history has to be perfect.
