or just get some clear silicone sealant and finish in any areas that could leak.

I don't see what the big deal is, as even $300+ tail lights will leak (like my IPCW LED taillights). All this aftermarket cosmetic parts were never known to be leak free at any price point.

So get ready to do a little work (I personally can never "bolt in" a part right away) and be happy with accomplishing something

Hmm my factory third light leaked. Had to remove the light and tweak the metal to meet the seal. Never liked the look of any aftermarket anything for the gmt900 trucks anyways so led in factory housing sounds good.

I used the eBay and Recon, both leaked, what I did is, added a double sided tape to snug it in making it leak proof. Worked perfectly.

dont pay $99 for some OEM tinted tail
spend the $15 in supplies and tint it yourself
wet sand /w 1000 grit/ 2 coats adhesion promoter/ and on mine I used 2 coats VHT niteshade/ 5 coats clear






I did my friends last week, just a touch darker
