Hey Greg, any word about the Caltracs for a nnbs? Their website only list vehicles up to '06. Good work on the tranny swap, btw

I emailed Calvert's and they said they haven't developed caltracs for the GMT900s yet.

Wow, those look like they're for a flipped rear axle, too.

Updated the TCM tune data on page 6. Found that the Express van TCM is a direct plug and play tune for the 4.8 PCM with no need to update the PCM.

good data you have there. this is a pretty easy swap is it not?. Ive been thinking of doing a 4l80 because it seems to be a pain to swap to the 6l80 even though these things come stock with them now and also seems they have some little problems where as the 4l80 with shift kit should hold some good power.

the swap was a piece of cake. The hardest part was figuring what TCM would control the NNBS truck with the seperate TCM from the PCM since you couldn't just do a segment swap like you could on the older PCMs. It took a lot of work, trial and error and a couple extra HPTuners licensing of various PCMs to find one that worked correctly.

well now its known that the new van tcm can be used so thats cool. Im not to savy with the tuning but did you buy a tcm from the 2008 2500 van or did you just load the data from one onto yours. if you bought one whered you get it from.
