Default GMT 900 badging

Today I saw a newer body style silverado with badging on the door that said. "SILVERADO 327" w/the crossed flags behind the 327 numbers. Does antbody know where I can find these on the web? What year truck did they come off of? I know they are factory because I saw these a while back when I was @ the dealership on one of the trucks in the showroom.

The only ones I'm aware of were aftermarket "327" like you described. I guess some people like the nostalgia of the emblem while mixed with the Silverado which is not 327 cid and shares no resemblance with the old small block. I've seen them a couple times, kinda made me laugh. They may as well slap some 427 emblems on there.

I was at a body shop yesterday and saw a really nice '70 Chevelle with "SS 496" badges on the fenders. I asked, and was told yeah the owner had stuffed it with a 454 block stroked out to 496. At least he had the **** to back up the badges ....

I bet the salesman who sold him the truck told him that the 5.3 was a 327 (instead of 323). An older guy I used to work with thought his 5.3 was a 327 too.

It would be kind of like me putting a 383 emblem on the side of my truck when it's really a 376.

I think that answers your question...it's not a real badge, otherwise people would have heard of it.

It's probably aftermarket.

RPM Graphix makes emblems, I have the ones in the my avatar on the side of my truck. 327 looks cooler that 323 for whatever reason.
