Me too! Saves me the trouble of having to get everything painted. Just have to paint the tailgate handle and the spoiler thing on the gate. I haven't decided what to do with the bumper. Color match it? Or get a roll pan of some sort?

If your gonna drop the truck do the roll pan, I think a roll pan on a stock height truck looks odd. But a color matched rear bumper will look good either way.

Thoughts? Id love to go darker, but cops will pull you over in a heartbeat for too dark.
What are you talking when you mentioned a clear bra for the front? I have the color matched front end as well and would like to do something to protect it.

By the way, Nice truck!!

Clear bra is essentially a clear vinyl that you would put over the areas susceptible to rock chips and other damage. Places like the bumper, grille, hood and rockers.

So a little update. I got the windows tinted, clear bra, emblem covered on Monday. My guy didnt completely finish the clear bra, he ran outta time. So my hood, grille, fenders, headlights, and mirrors are now protected. Once he frees up some more time, he will finish the front bumper and the rockers from stem to stern. I went with 20% all the way around on the tint. Plus an oversized windshield strip. He was going to cover the front bowtie with some black, but he had some black carbon fiber vinyl left over from another job and threw that on there. When he told me that, i got a little nervous. Last thing i want to do is make this truck look like some doucher that threw everything on the "performance aisle" at Vatozone on his moms civic. But it looks really good. From more than five feet away, it looks black. And since my truck is a Z71, it has the carbon fiber look on the gauges so they kinda match.

I also removed my rear block this afternoon. It looks much better without such a drastic rake. Still has some rake, but its better. It dropped it 1 1/4". Now i just need to save some cash for the rims and tires. I want the TBSS reps in gloss black. I was thinking of leaving the suspension alone at this point, and putting 305/45/22 Nitto Terra Grapplers on those TBSS rims.

I also have on order through work the Airaid Jr setup and the Magnaflow exhaust. Magnaflow has a specific part number for CCSB 6.2 trucks, but it wont be available for release for 3-6 months.

Ive revised my initial plans of grandeur to Airaid Jr, ARH LT, Magnaflow 15121, Black Bear tune, Tbss rims and tires.

I have the 4" In/Out on my CC 6.2 and it performs and sounds perfect...The stock exhaust piping is already over 3 1/2" diameter so it just needs a flare pipe to weld up perfectly.
