Thats what i keep telling myself ... ... my fiancee doesnt understand how i stay so calm when **** goes bad .. she like how can you stay so positive? i tell her cause shes always the negative one lol ..

 

Just waiting for reply from warantee now to see what they going to do.. fix or replace.

 

So now the waranty guy with the company i got tranny from says none of that which the tech at dealership told me makes any sense to him .. That it goes in gear and moves but dont shift up to any other gear but neutral even tho the tech 2 showed 2 internal Malfunction/Failure codes .. So im like what part isnt making sense and he says all of it!!! WTF man .. He goes on to say i should have changed the front pump seal before installing it... Really??? Never heard anyone mention this when i paid for the trans and 12 month waranty .. I asked a mechanic friend and he says thats bullshit ( which is my opinion also ) .. They gunna call in the mornin but wanna see a receipt from dealer first (which i have) so they can see if i really went and so they need to get more info .. Seems as though im bout to get the shaft

 

Im at work n its finally slowed up enuff for me to get on here and vent lol .. Im bout to the end with these waranty people .. Only way they gunna kno exactly whats wrong is to tear into ot and im figuring they dont wanna .. The warrantee pays for labor for removal and tear down also .. Im like u just need to take it and do what ur waranty claims it will do ..

 

seems to me like they dont know wtf they are talking about and trying every loop hole to get out of replacing it.

if it was me id bring them the truck and tell them here is what your pos transmission does. now you see for a fact it is broken i want it replaced.

 

Finally they came to the realization that they need to replace it .. They got me another one pulled and then the warranty guy got a call in to the dealer and talked to the tech i had check out my trans and they are in agreement that its a POS and i need another one .. They are however also in agreement with the tech that i need a 2010 or older to ensure it to
Function properly between TCM and ECM .. So the date is Monday that i get a 2010 6L80E to replace their busted 2011 .. Got truck on stands and partially tore down already .. Monday cannot come soon enuff .. Comtemplating taking a night off (vacation day)Monday so i can get dat bitch rollin lol ..

 

Its only been 4 flippin' months dus butch been broke .....

 

Man your trying to go to a 6speed and I want to go down to a 4speed (4l80e) lol good luck man hopefully everything works out for you.
