i remember driving my yukon with a 3600 stall with no tune and the drivability sucked! i drove it for about 2 weeks and the converter is still ok 3 years and counting *knocks on wood* other then that i don't think it affects anything, ull get a CEL because of the headers + y pipe as well

I drove my 3000 stall for about a week while black bear was updating my tune, I drove it extremely mild and everything was fine.
as for the headers, you'll just get 3 codes, cat efficiency, and both rear o2 sensors (i'm guessing low voltage) haha

My next step will be 80# injectors and a 102 throttle body

80# injectors are huge... what do you have planned? Way overkill unless youre going the boost route.

You drive a 6.2, right? newer one? That should be a flex fuel engine. Your stock injectors will handle everything you throw at it NA if you keep it a 6.2.

Why wouldnt you just wait to install everything until you can get the tune? That would be the best bet. The truck will run funny because of the rear o2 sensors.

who is doing your tune?

On another note... you must be pretty pumped. Your truck with those mods will be a rocket. You will run an easy low 13.
