Default Factory remote start not working

I have factory remote start on my truck that worked flawlessly before this weekend. While doing all the mods on my truck this weekend, I had the battery disconnected. Now the remote start won't work. When i send the signal, the lights flash like normal and I can hear the fuel pump prime, but it never even attempts to crank over.

I havent been tuned yet so I have codes for the downstream o2 sensors cuz of the high flow cats but that it. Does any body have an idea why the remote start would just quit working? Anybody see this before?

Mine would do that when it was too cold. Did you plug all the sensors back in, MAF, etc?

It is because of the check engine being on. Get the truck tuned and it will work again.

Yep - any stored DTCs - the system inhibits remote starting.

Everyone beat me to it LOL

I had the same problem when I had #5 plug miss firing and throwing a code. I sat there for 10 minutes pressing the button over and over till it all clicked
