Default Drop spindle installation question

I am going to be installing Ground Force drop spindles and want to make sure that I have the tools that I need before starting. Do I need a tool to separate the ball joint from the spindle or can I just tap the nut with a hammer?

Just hit the spindle area where the ball joint stud goes through. This will take a fairly big hammer.

this works like a charm. dont hit the ball joint itself but instead the spindle. one swift hit with a 1-2lb hammer and your golden

Yup, theres actually a flat spot on the spindle to hit, do the same for tie rod ends too and dont over torque them.
