okay guys I got the front done today and just like Stangkilr I didnt get the full drop out of the coils.

should I buy MCG coils....cut the GF coils...or wait till the settle then decide?

If I lower the back 5" it will be level, however I wanted the back at 6" and that to have a slight rake....decisions decisions.

whew...Im tired

Just cut a coil now. You will be glad you did. These companies need to figure out why the fronts are not dropping much.

No personal experience here....but why not just drop the rear 5" and let the front springs settle and go from there? Can always cut later if you need too, but ya can't go back. I would think you are bound to sacrifice some ride quality after you cut them, being that you are increasing spring rate with the shorter overall spring height.

you may be able to knock the struts off without taking any ball joints loose (I think I did, can't remember), but it may be tough to put them back on... Take the sway bar endlink loose and give it a shot; good luck.....

Let it settle and then see where you are.

I honestly can't believe you even thought about cutting them.
