I paid $400 for the shaft, one piece of course with 1350 yokes & joints. Then I bought a 1350 series pinion yoke to complete the swap. Have roughly $475 in swap but is still better than buying another $600+ factory p.o.s. Shaft.

the stock alum ones are roughly .060 thick. driveshaft specialists spec'd one for my truck to be 5" dia .120 wall
as far as i know its not the 2pcs that are the problem its just the 1pc. there are like 30 different driveshafts that came in these trucks. it depends on year and body style. my std cab long bed prob has the longest 1pc that came in these things.

Probably the same length as my 2WD ECSB...
Mine vibrates like a **** at exactly 158km/h (98.2MPH)
At 157.9km/h (98.1MPH) it does NOT vibrate
I had one shop tell me "It's aluminum already, that's the best you can get!" lol
The second shop can only balance for like 3000 RPM...

Anyone get a driveshaft done by The Driveshaft Shop? I been looking into these for my truck and they seem pretty badass. Seems like there up to date with all the latest tech. I would like to get my rear DS my front DS and my front CV axles done by them. (I know overkill lol)
