i am running a performabuilt lvl2, and have nearly all the parts to install my turbo setup on my truck. anybody know a good place in/near maryland to get a driveshaft made. i really would rather not pay to ship one.

I was told by the dealership there is 30 something different ones that came on gmt900 trucks. You have a 5" aluminum?

what about a gen3? i didnt realize the shafts were all that different

I measured what was left from my old driveshaft and yes it is 5" aluminum.

Welcome to the club I blew mine a few months back got it replaced under warranty... I'm gonna go the 2 piece route still havnt fig who I want to build it tho I wonder of the Drive Shaft Shop can build me one

im waiting for mine to blow itself apart. the truck has developed a vibration at certain speeds.

I'd like to see installed drive shaft safety loop pics if you guys got ‘em. I want one but am not sure where to mount it. 6" from the tail shaft or 6" from the pinion yoke or??
When my OEM DS let go it was dead center and took out my, FLT trans case, tail shaft/output shaft, charcoal canister, in-line fuel pump, and just beat the **** out of the under carriage. So about $3k in damage.
