Drive shaft specs to build

around 120mph the drivetrain noise changes. would be nice if only a needed a hi speed balance? I dont know how much power im putting to those wheels but that sheet aluminum shaft scares me.

Have you looked into high speed balancing? My guess is the speed won't be your only issue seeing as these things can break from a dig as well.

I wouldn't worry about breaking the shaft on a launch, unless it was on full slicks & over 600 tq. But that's just me.

My D-max felt kinda sketchy at 90 mph today. I think I'll get it balanced.

That's what I would have thought but I was driving my Dad's AWD denali last week fishing down south. Truck is bone stock and pulling the boat 85-90mph up the hills I started to feel the same vibrations I felt in mine before I popped my DS. I finally lost my nerve and decided just to back off of it before we were stranded on the side of the road out in BFE
