cheyenne383 06-28-2013 05:59 PM

Nice!!!

swift700 06-28-2013 06:31 PM

Nice aquisition. Let me know when you want a 2.8 pulley. I have one sitting here. It's the next step forward.

gonzo 6.2 06-28-2013 07:07 PM

Thanks yall.its been just as smooth as stock for driveability.then pin it and it becomes a beast ..charlie is one hella of a tuner thats about all i can say

may have a video in the future,2.9 pulley is pretty good for now,I towed a 2000 3/4 4x4 suburban today, never gave it more than 1/4 throttle, even on one 1/2 mile steep grade .Travel trailer will be next.
Its a daily driver pkg I would say.not on the edge with anything
It all feels solid, the PAC 1211x springs are pretty dam quiet.

Thanks big R,I think she's good for high 12s im pretty sure,it launchs smooth and quick in auto, doesnt shudder.only done 3 of those, doing my best to limit long hard runs, enjoying the walk into 1/4 throttle as it just comes on and then shifts.I have two sets of 18s a nice set of goodyears. And whats on it now are some cheap take offs on extra set of oe 18s,they are expendable ,well they have been i should say

(Not gonna happen ... well, at least not till I can scrape together the dough to follow you into FA land!)

But please please please let me know if you ever decide to come back over the mountain to Woodburn again, I'd love to see that beast run!

Any of you folk here familiar with 2012-2013 Boss ford mustangs?(limited build) They are 444HP with a track key, dealer loads a tune and it is recognized by the ignition key they give you. These cars run 12.7s road and track or car and driver.on you tube many run better.
phump:cheers:

He was kind of expecting it or new it could go either way,he has a plethora of bad fast chevys he wasn't bothered in the least.

RUSSH 07-07-2013 04:46 PM

Nice man. I want one really bad for my truck!

VegasJ 07-07-2013 05:35 PM

jealous.

I want a SC and cam badly... just a lil 5.3 here though.

NKPPhil 07-07-2013 06:37 PM

Holy crap Gonzo! You showed him the same view of your taillights that you showed me last year. That's AWESOME!

Damn, "sleeper" is right ....

K man ,you roll through central oregon, you better look me up,im buying......breakfast lunch or dinner.....;)

v8hunter 07-08-2013 01:43 PM

Wow!...pretty suprised how well you pulled on "Boss". That area looks pretty darn familiar. If you burn up your tires and need some 18s I have some virtually new factory rubber (265/65/18) at my place in Lapine I'd sell you for cheap.

I'd also like to know when/if you make a trip to Woodburn.

Vortec350ss 07-08-2013 02:10 PM

Wow it runs strong!

Imagine what it would do with a little converter and a tad more boost... thats through a stock exhaust too, right??

Impressive!

JRENIGAR 07-08-2013 06:07 PM

What did it make at the rear wheels? Do you have a dyno graph you could post? Thanks.

ak2007r6 07-09-2013 12:25 AM

Nicely done bud!

Blackpanther99 07-09-2013 05:51 PM

Runs real good! Goodjob.

v8 hunter PM sent
sorry it took so long to reply, just came back from diamond lake, the truck tows my 27ft travel trailer with ease.1/4 throttle is all it needs, better towing mileage too.
If i do a woodburn run I will contact you and NKP Phil.I would be more apt to do if if I could get 4 or runs in within 2-3 hrs.

gonzo 6.2 07-11-2013 01:52 PM

Once again thanks guys for all the positive feedback, not been on a dyno,as one poster asked. And yes stock exhaust

gonzo 6.2 07-14-2013 01:30 AM

new ecoboost wanted to try me on.He heard my exhaust note as i turned out on the hwy.I notice this shiney new f150 wanting to ralley behind me,seems he was looking to teach a chevy a lesson because he heard and seen me being a little hot.kind of a cat game for the next 10mi on the hwy between towns.found a open stretch just before the up coming city traffic. We were next to each other i gassed it and backed off, gave thumbs up he gassed it I gave him the big jump,BAM i was gone like he was standing still.later in traffic we gave hi fives,he was cool either way if he owned it or it was company owned. But for sure it had the green little signia "eco"

Nice kill Gonzo Maybe you can help me im doin a ls9 swap on my l9h and im having a hard time figuring out what to do with the 5 pin camshaft sensor vs the ls3 3 pin. Gm High Tech did an article on it but dont really explain it much. Do i just transfer the sensor from the original cover to the ls3 cover or do i have to splice the wires ect. Any help would be great thanks.

mej0914 07-19-2013 07:26 AM

Man it would be nice to be closer so we could do a couple runs. Looks like you make it to 90 maybe a sec faster then me. I did a 2nd gear pull with a punk in a 350z last night on the way home from work. Took him by a couple cars to 70mph. It never gets old! Badass truck bud.
