They do have a black one that's listed as w/o body color: 25810706
The other ones are listed w/ body color or chrome.

To bad they changed the silver color from Sheer Silver to Silver Ice in 2012. But looking at pictures you sure can't tell a difference.

WOW! those colors are almost identical. though i know being metallic youd be able to tell a difference with how it behaves in shade and with shadows and reflections. I was going to ask you whitebread if you worked at a dealer since your pic is at a dealer lot. And so i believe what KC Kid is asking is if there is a split grill that is gel coat only that is ready to be colored or if you have to buy any color and prep it for paint yourself. I would think for me, being that I want the chrome mesh, i would probably have to buy a colored grill then paint it to my liking since they dont offer my color in that grill.

I'm tempted to try it! I have a black bug deflector between the grille and hood and the center section of my bumper is chrome, below the grille. So the only adjacent silver painted pieces would be the corner bumper pieces. I need to go park next to one of these Silver Ice trucks to really see the difference.

I think it'll stick out. Especially to you.
On a previous truck I had the grille painted to match and when we mixed the paint up we accidentally added just a smidge to much of one of the mixes and for that whole week...I walked to the truck from behind cause I couldn't stand how it looked slightly different haha

Has anyone found out if there is just a ready paint grille? or if there is a chrome one?

there is a chrome one on gm parts direct, also a black one that says w/o paint, different than the painted black one

22849840 looks to be all chrome split design, I don't see any others that are without a paint code attached.

It doesn't show a picture or give any more description than that, so whitebread would know more than me on which is which. I'm just searching in their catalog for a 2012 grille, basically blindly.
