Exclamation DOD Delete Help

2008 Silverado 5.3. Did the dod delete and went to fire it up and lots of valve train noise. Havent turned off in tune yet due to lack of credits. Is it possible that the noise is because the computer thinks it still has dod. Does it shut off injectors or spark as well?

If you did the valley plate and lifters then it will just throw a bunch of codes for the dod selenoids. Did u replace the cam? The dod cam is said to have different lobes for intake/exhaust lobes on dod cylinders.

yes its a stock cam out of an 04 5.3. It has valve train noise an is not running on all cylinders. Sounds kind of like a 4 cylinder

It will run w.o the dod turned off.

If there is issues then you need to pull the valve covers and watch the rockers as the engine spins.

A good quality video would be nice
