Wait that sounds a lot like what this guy does with a Predator and you can EMAIL it.

yea but how do you know what that guy is doing to your truck? along with all email tunes by any one, too risky and time consuming. My Efi Live custom os3 tune > diablo

Thought id post again in this thread, i just got done switching from diablo to a blackbear mail order tune and from what i can tell from my short 10min drive i made the right decision..
right off the bat a noticeable difference in driveability idle, cruise, shifts etc... so far the BB tune has equal if not more power than the diablo tune that i messed with myself. more driving time will tell if the BB tune is more powerfull or not i suppose.

I think the next step might be to get the actual tuning software myself so i can do it on my own as the mail order shipping thing is sort of a downer, but in the end just might be worth it..

Everyone is talking mail order on a chip. Diablo suggest a dyno tune. Thats why they only have basic tunes in it by default. Also those tunes are for a none mod'd vehicle. All doing the same thing but Diablo is virtually untraceable for warranty if you reset to factory.

In my opinion custom dyno tuning is the way to go. I do know diablo does have custom tuning, but do they offer all the options as efi live and hp tuners, do they offer custom operating systems? For some one that doesnt know any better that all theyll ever do to they're truck is a handheld and exhaust, yes they will work great. But for the us with heavily modded trucks custom tuning is a must.

Hey guys, what up. Im basically just looking to make my 4.8 run a little better.Ive only got exhaust on it now,and I plan on an intake later. My plan is to eventually do a 6.0/6.2,and a blower in the future. So Im not gonna do any major mods to my 4.8 since it would be a waste of money.

like we have been telling you, get a nice mail order or if possible a dyno tune. this will be the most noticeable.

gears will also make it feel faster.

Get a tune from someone local, or one of the sponsors (Wheatley, Black Bear).

Don't waste the money on the Predator.
