Thinking of pulling the trigger on a buddy's '08 Denali AWD with a rebuilt title. What are the common issues with these trucks and what mods bring the motor to life?

 

no real issues i've come across, was a 1st year at chev in 07-08 and been at another shop threwout my apprenticeship and havent seen any "known issues" come threw the door.
chev lifters are always noisy haha.
bringing it to life....options are endless, just look at ANY thread on this gmt900 section!

 

Depends on what setup you'd like but your limited on fuel with stock fuel system if you want BIG numbers
