I ran fishing line behind mine and it came off pretty easy ..

Done. I used heat AND fishing line. Among other tricks . . .

What about the front bowtie? I dont think its the same as the back, is it?

No it snaps in the grill
The gold part is adhered to the back plate of it but I broke one just seeing if I could separate the two since I had put a billet one on the truck

How about the 4x4 or z71 logo on the side? I'm planning on taking mine off as soon as the truck comes in. I'm guessing a heat gun will help but figured I would ask.

Yes, heat gun for the z71/4x4 sticker. And i put a vinyl cover over my front bowtie. Looks good. Eventually ill get a pic of it.

No it snaps in the grill
So whats needed to take it off? i thought there was a couple little screws holding it in. Reason I ask is because Im wanting to get front+rear chrome bowties off Ebay.

Also how do you get the rear bowtie back on once you take it off?

The older trucks used a screw type these have a snap type
I'll takes pic of an old one I have laying around in a bit you'll see
As for the back double side automotive tape
