Will the 55 W bulbs cause problems with the headlamp housings as long as I run 35 W in the fogs.

I just put the 55w 5K's in and really drove for the first time tonight, all I can say is awesome. Mine came from China also and too about 4 days I think for the tracking number to actually show up also. When it did it just said left China. Guess I should have frog the lens before I put them in bit it felt alright to me, any light generates heat. All I ever read about melting came from 55s in the fogs.

DDM are on the way. Dammit POS low beam quit on my way to my inlaws in richmond and nabbed me a nice friggin ticket this evening. After this experience I'm damm tempted to put stock bulbs back in and leave it alone for a while.

A DDM bulb quit? A regular one quit, so you ordered DDM? You put in some "upgraded" halogen, and want to put a stock back in?

Just asking for clarification.

Ebay set quit that was semi recommended on here back in november when I got the truck. I ordered the DDM's for highs and fogs this evening. I am going to put the stock bulbs back in for now but after this evening I'm damm tempted to leave them.

Installed my ddm 55w kit last night. Wow. So awesome and the quality is great. Had to adjust the headlights to shine down but that's fine. Very happy with the results.

Don't they take getting used to? Like when you unlocked your doors before, and your lights came on? They don't now, because of the initial power surge, and I am so paranoid I think they are broke. They start up every time the truck does though. Also I only have the 35w kit, I almost couldn't imagine 55w...

I had 35w 8000K highs and 6000K lows in my 2000, put some 55w 5000K H13 high/low combo bulbs in a friends F250... They're nasty bright

The good thing about the combo bulbs is there's no waiting for them to heat up instant burnyourretinasout as soon as you flip them to high LOL... He actually got stopped for them (installed a leveling kit and didn't adjust headlights) by a trooper and after he gave him a hard time About them actually helped him adjust them on the side of the hwy

They still come on when I unlock the truck no problem. I've had zero problems with this kit and I love the outcome. If anyone is concerned about the lights being in peoples eyes just adjust them.

here are the pictures taken with my phone:
