I just put the 55w 5K's in and really drove for the first time tonight, all I can say is awesome. Mine came from China also and too about 4 days I think for the tracking number to actually show up also. When it did it just said left China. Guess I should have frog the lens before I put them in bit it felt alright to me, any light generates heat. All I ever read about melting came from 55s in the fogs.

I had 35w 8000K highs and 6000K lows in my 2000, put some 55w 5000K H13 high/low combo bulbs in a friends F250... They're nasty bright
The good thing about the combo bulbs is there's no waiting for them to heat up instant burnyourretinasout as soon as you flip them to high LOL... He actually got stopped for them (installed a leveling kit and didn't adjust headlights) by a trooper and after he gave him a hard time About them actually helped him adjust them on the side of the hwy

Don't they take getting used to? Like when you unlocked your doors before, and your lights came on? They don't now, because of the initial power surge, and I am so paranoid I think they are broke. They start up every time the truck does though. Also I only have the 35w kit, I almost couldn't imagine 55w...
here are the pictures taken with my phone:
