I removed the factory Silverado dash from my 08 and installed a complete Yukon Denali dash, center console, seats, etc. Removing the dash and installing the new one can be done in a day easily. I actually have to do it on my wife’s Tahoe now, I’ll grab some pics when I do.

I'd also like to see it installed and a description of the process. I'd like to fully convert my rcsb over to a Denali interior.

This is my 2008 Silverado LT 4wd. It was an absolute head case when i bought it and the factory truck dash was cracked everywhere from it sitting in the sun. Going forward to make things easier, I'll refer to the outer dash as the skin and the inner dash as the body. The 2 dashboard bodies you see above are the factory truck dash after it was removed and the tahoe / suburban / avalanche / yukon or LTZ truck dash. If you look closely, you'll see the differences in radio placement, and hvac vent placement. You'll also see a metal reinforcement bar that runs along the backside of these bodies. This bar bolts to the cab. This is also different and needs to be changed with the dash body (truck bar and truck dash or suv bar and suv dash).
