1650-2200 no warrenty on upgraded bench work. id let it stay as it is vs pay that much. i just cant see spending that cash on JUST clutch packs.

yeah if they would put a warrenty on it i can see paying that much but right now without the warranty i would just wait till it breaks lol

This is more than a rebuild and clutch packs. These guys are ahead of the crowd with these transmissions. I recomend you contact them for more details if you really need the added strength.

yeah i dont dought there work what so ever iv heard nothing but good things about them and would like for them to do some work on my trans. matter of fact when mine does go out or feels like its going im going to them for this upgrade. I just wished they had some kind of warranty to go along with it. But i guess you can look at it both ways yes they are building a trans for a performance truck but they dont know how the driver drives and abuses there vehicle so it would be hard to say if it was a defective part or just customer neglect...

^^All good points. Just remember if you wait until yours dies the cost to repair will go up. Each failed component has to be replaced and one broken piece can cause damage to others.

i dont know how much power those trans handle but i think if you tune it write it will handle alot cause i think i am having more than 550 engine horse power and it really good i think if you have the right trans cooler it will be ok

let us see after the cam swap and boost to 10 psi we will see what happines

the problem here in dubai we dont have any good trans shops

true true I have only a tune and a good trans cooler so it should last a bit but im going to consider getting circle D to work on the trans before i put the 408 in... anyone know if they improve the shift like make them more firm? with the tuned in shift kit it shifts pretty good but i got so use to my shift in my old 4l60e with the corvette servo and trans go HD2 that i want my 6l80 to shift the same way. Im sure they spec it to your liking just didnt see any info on this.

no warranty- no care lol

iamkeniff 09-09-2010 01:53 PM

i wouldnt care if they was the best in the market or not. no disrespect towards Chris or anything, i love his converters but it had a warrenty. but when the tranny has no warrenty at the Dealer OR the place that put clutches in it. i say F THAT.
you're choice though. ive heard of the LS3 running like 600+ rwhp with this tranny but eh whatever you wanna do.
