When I bought my first F-body (95 Formula) I learned that there were tons of free mods that could be done to help the performance of the car. I now have an 08 Tahoe Z71 2wd. Are there any cheap, free, or easy mods that can be done with this? It has about 15k for mileage now and is stock except for an AFE Stage 2 CAI w/ dry filter.
And yes, I've read the boards, performed searches, and found nothing specific.

Go with an I6 TB verter, you can pick one up pretty cheap. Other than that the cheapest mods worthy of doing IMO would be headers, a cam (find one used for 200-250), and then a tune.
