The DIC mod is probably the only thing I'll do to it, maybe some 20 inch take off wheels when it needs new tires

I got the LT1 when I was 16, going on 9 years. For most of that time I was in school and working part time, so now that I am done with school it's actually pretty fun to be able to do the stuff I have always kind of wanted if that makes any sense at all.

Thanks, so far I am suprised at how easy this truck is to drive. The only thing I havent had so much luck with is, the a/c controls. It didnt come with an owners manual and for the life of me I cant figure out how to get the heater to work. The controls on this are unlike any things I have ever used.

That's a nice looking Sierra!

Does it have manual or automatic A/C?

You can always get an owners manual from the dealer.

BizZzatch, register on the GMC owner's site. You can enter your VIN and get info about your Sierra. One of the options is to view the Owner's manual online.

Registered on there, got an owners manual off e-bay also. Far as wheel swaps go, are the wheels from all the 07+ 1500 series trucks interchangable? I dont really like the factory wheels on the truck now and in a few thousand miles would like to upgrade to some of the nicer factory wheels like the 20s or a set of All Terraine wheels depending on what I find.

Some thing like this:

The wheels are interchangeable on the GMT900s...
