Anyone have paint issues with their moldings? on the passenger side of mine it looks/feels like the clearcoat is wearing off...if it continues to discolour I'll likely take mine off as well, just real paranoid of shopping carts, other car doors.

Take that plastic crap off and pitch it.. Look way cleaner without it!!

Take them off looks much cleaner. Took mine off as soon as i had a chance.

Just got done pulling mine off 2 days ago and got the blisters to prove it. Looks like a totally new truck though. I vote do it.

hey guys when taking them off what all you gota have?? will there be adhesive left on it or what i wana do the same but am kinda nervous as i dont wana freak anything up!!

I'd say leave them on. It helps protect your doors when mail boxes jump out into the road! Sure the mailbox makes a scratch but atleast the post won't!!

Yes there will be adhesive left behind. To make it easier, try doing it in three steps; the first obviously being removal of the trim/letters, second remove most of the adhesive foam (I used a plastic card and blow dryer) and third remove the trace adhesive with some kind of solvent.

Most of all take your time and be smart, no sense rushing it and having scratches where your trim used to be.
