I have a crownline 230ls (about 25 feet long) it weights around 5600 lbs. I haven't pulled it yet with my truck. I have a 08 VMax QC 4x4 4.10 gears and a nelson tune, lifted 7 inches with 18x9 wheels and 35x13.00 tries. Do I need to do anything to get my truck ready for pulling the boat? I am going to drive it all over the south this summr.

 

i would go with a taller gear but wouldnt think that it would have any problems towing it as is.

 

dunno if the lift will give u any trouble but i pull my 20' mariah alot in my truck w/ no sweat

Should be good. Tow a '09 Pursuit 230 w/ 250 on it no problems w/ the 5.3 fuel economy sucks but oh well.

Ok thanks guys, I would't think my truck would have to much of a problem. Gas mileage will suck worse then what it does but oh well. Price of beauty and fun is expensive just like a women.
