no i dont think its needed on a gas motor

I just looked thru 4 different sections of stickies and just found it.

 

I use the 57045 and a magnet wrap on my GMT900...

And a 51522 with magnet wrap on my 800. Everything I own gets WIX filter. Lawnmower, tractor, 4 wheelers, trucks, you name it. Best filters made IMO... We run all WIX filters on our gas compression engines. They work!

 

Another vote for wix 57045.

 

Yeah, I'm just posting this here so I can find this again in 7500 or so miles...

 

I just picked up a WIX 57045 for mine today. Asked for a 2012 Impala V6 filter to avoid any resistance from the parts guy.

 

im going to go back on that statment. if you have a boosted engine it mite help. oil gets dirty quick. Im going to get a single by pass
