Belltech 2/3 Drop-- Shocks needed or not?

Belltech 2/3 Drop-- Shocks needed or not?

2013 Silverado ext cab 5.3 25k miles. Want to drop it, just need advice on adding shocks or is it a waste of money?

I put new belltech shocks on mine. It's not much more for the rear and I got the struts for the front to drop it 1.5". Rides decent. A little more firm than stock.
