Sell your blower and have your 6.2L made into a stroker...

I would personally keep what you have though...nothing quite like instant blower torque.

You would be better off to sell the blower and stroke the 6.2. You will come out ahead.

Just FYI, I sold a 18k mile 6.2l for $1700. Had alot of tire kickers but no bitters. Good luck.

427 is a short stroke, its dry sump as well.

My recommendation get something with the 427's bore (most likely a 447) and a longer stroke torquey crank and a reasonable midrange cam for your torque all over monster vs. a 7k rpm screamer meant for a 3100 lb car. Keep it under 5500-6000 rpms with a reasonable cam, maybe some off the shelf LS7 heads and you'll be happy. A good engine builder can build you a normal wet sump sleeved engine for less than that crate LS7.

The NA stroker package on your 6.2 doesn't sound like a horrible idea either. Long stroke makes the torque, which is what you want for a truck.

That being said a 427 over a 346 in a vette is night and day, where the 346 will lug 6th gear under 2k (80mph stock gearing) the 427 will happily chug alone at 1500 (60 mph) without an issue. My 427 has gotten 27 mpg as compared to 28-29 rating stock......

im thinking i should just stroke it and sell the SC to my brother for his 5.3l 09 Tahoe. Id like a classic GM displacement like 427 or 454. I see kits but dont know what kits would be best. Whats involved is stoking a 6.2l? besides the obvious crank rods pistons.

I think with all the crazyness going on with the 4.8 and 5.3 guys getting their times deep into the 10's that a 427 engine is kinda pointless for the power vs the money spent. Just a opinion. It is nice say you have 427 cubes, but then get spanked by a 5.3 on some boost. **** is not cheap for the big cube engines.
