Dude i have the same headers size and all mine also laid on the header until i removed the line clips that are ahead of where they touch actually i only removed the lower line from the clip and i have a quarter inch clearance now i do have a dimple in the header on that side from the engine flexing the pipe hit the frame just a dimple also if u don't have a trans cooler i made two little brackets to lower the stock cooler from out behind the bowtie trans temp dropped at least 15-20 degrees easy hope this helps id post a pic but i dont know how i suck
