Default Anybody run 295s on 20s?

The guy at discount was telling me that 295mm tires would be way too wide for my SS wheels. Any truth in this? Definitely sounds like he may be trying to sell me stuff thats in stock, since those other tires would have to be ordered. He recommended some 285s that are in stock, so that just raised a red flag for me...

I have 305/50R-20s on my stock Texas Edition rims and they work fine.

Funny thing is my tire guy told me that he could put wider on there for me if I wanted, even though it isn't recommended, said it wold be a little harder to mount them, but it would work fine.

Any ways you can see the 305s in my garage pics.

I installed 305/50 Yokohama AVID SUV's on my Sierra Denali when it needed new "tennies". Luv 'em!

IIRC when the first model SS's came out they had 305/50-20's then went to a 275/55-20 later. Should be fine
