I know the rear mount cross member needs modified, the drive shaft shortened, the yoke that fits the 80 and repin the harness. What else am I missing? Also, I believe the TCM just needs flashed to a 80 OS?
Any help would be great.
THe driveshaft does not need to be shortened. Just get a 80e yoke and you will be good. You will need to take measurements to make sure you get the correct length though. Make sure to subtract some too for the articulation of your axle (usually 3/4") from the yoke lenght.

You will also have to repin the Round transmission connector and add wiring for a vss sensor (wiring will be pulled from the round transmission connector). This VSS (Vehicle speed sensor) will be the sensor closest to the tailhousing.

You can bend the front cooler line to fit. The rear cooler line will have to be lengthened. MAKE SURE TO USE THE REAR COOLER LINE FITTING FROM THE 80E Do not use the rear cooler line fitting that came with the 60e or you could damage your tranny.

Also depending on your current exhaust setup, you might need to alter it.
