Default 6.2L upgrade

Alright guys.... I couldn't handle dat stupid ping any longer. Done everything I could except cooler plugs and a tune so I reached into my christmas savings and santa got himself a 6.2L camaro crate engine 430hp 426tq.... Now I want a fatty bottom end. Got 2500 to spend... lay it on me guys.... what's up? I know for a fact a custom cam... gonna pull da heads and do some work on it and some lifters will be added... what else should I do... thanks

Stock lifters should be good. Nice cam and springs, port work(specialy the exhaust side) and spend the rest on supporting mods like trans, stall and tune IMHO.

Just put an L92 intake on it and your truck accessories and run it! Cam if you want. No reason to completely tear apart a new motor.

Just install the engine and drive it, don't rip into a brand new engine and potentially cause a problem with your investment. What grade of gas do you plan on running?
