I've been able to rival the mileage of my 5.3 in Mom's Ecalade, driving nicely. But on that 100+ mile an hour jaunt up to Farmington didn't see any better than 12, sure was fun though..................

My Buddy just recieved his 2010,SLT,All Terrain,Extra cab, with 6.2,and i ask him about his milage,he said it was getting 15.3 in town... i told him I was kinda worried cause I have the same truck on order only it's not an All terrain, just SLE Extra cab with Max towing package and some other goodies :~) we walked out to look at his truck,he ask me if i wanted to drive it Of course I took the keys :~) It had 15.3 on it when i Cranked it up ... man that thing drives sweet Compared to my 2009 2500 D-max, i took it around the block and gave her a Little Gas a few times it went to 15.2 but after about a mile it came back up to 15.3,he Only has 1500 miles on it right Now and all in town driving!

Oh Yea he has the 342 gears...

I can't wait for mine to get here :~( 6-8 weeks ......I got mine with the 373's cause i Plan to run 35's on it...with 6" of lift...
I joined this site to learn about the 6.2 motor, and performance mods, Not a Lot of info here but more than I have found on any other site... later Robert... In Fernandina Beach Fl

I've been averaging 12.5 for the last 3000 miles or so. probably around 65% city 35% highway.

I get about 13-14 in the city. I'm getting about 15-16 with more highway mixed in. I wonder if my Leer topper's weight is affecting it any (bought the truck and it was already installed). It is aerodynamic, but heavy.....

This truck loves to lope along on the highway and sip gas, but you hit some stoplights and that 6.2 starts bringing the pain at the pump!! :nunchuk1:

12mpg city and 20mpg hwy @ 70mph... about the same as the 07' Sierra Denali I traded in... I'm not shy with the gas in pedal in the city...
