So i go to investigate Borla XR-1... Are you guys referring to the Sportsman or Multi-core? I couldn't really find a description on Borla's website explaining the difference. Also, what about round, oval, or offset... is there really a difference?

 

Xr1 oval is the muffler I'm referring to.

 

The oval xr1 will be quieter than the round version.

 

Like this guy knows, he hasn't even posted a clip of his Aero Turbine.

I called borla to ask them the difference between xr1 and the multi core. Multi core is more expensive and is the quieter of the two muffler.

I had my AT4040XL welded on last weekend. Still waiting on the tail pipe to come in so I just have an 18" turn down tacked to it. No drone at all and sounds damn good besides the obvious exhaust leaks from not being fully welded! Can't wait to hear it with the headers installed.
