6.2 upgrades

Hey guys I just bought a 2011 silverado with the 6.2...... What are the best upgrades without voiding the warranty? I am getting a leveling kit this weekend and new wheels/tires....

Most of the time about all you can do is air intake, exhaust, and wheels and tires are fine but most other things, like venom said, unless your can unbolt it and put stock parts back on will void warranties.

They can trace a programmer if they want. They can tell how many time the pcm has been flashed and can be asses about it if they want, but thats a risk you can take if willing. You can get lucky and like you said before as long as you remove it and they dont really look for it they may not care. Usually if its not something major they really wont look that far into it.
Me personally, I put trust into my chevy believing if taken care of properly and doing my scheduled maintenance it will make it past my warranty years anyway. I do have a few bolt ons and tuned by Wheatley and still under warranty for another 2 years.

I had a leveling kit and tires on mine before it hit 20 miles. I was assured by the dealer that it would have no impact on my warranty. I'm thinking about getting a custom tune myself, but only after it has a few thousand miles of trouble-free driving on it so I feel better about voiding my powertrain warranty.

Just get the dealer to do all the mods you want done to your truck. It will remain under warranty and have the mods you want. The dealers here in town do it all the time yeah it costs alot but if you really want to keep that warranty this is prob the only way to go.

I read the post on here about breaking in a new truck..... The best thing to do is to keep it under 2500 rpm and change the oil at 500 then at 3000? I used mobil 1 before is that still a good synthetic? 10w30? Oh and they said if on the highway try and load up the motor while cruising is this correct.
