Cause he is running low octance gas. If he tuned it for higher octane and up'ed the timing it would probably help to remove the stock.

LOL..I haven't run e85 yet, But I think we would see a 12 sec truck if we could run 27* of timing and gain 30rwHp on E85...

the whp gain isn't as much as one would think. then again, i haven't really sat down and tried to squeeze every last pony out of it either.

the gain is in the torque side

From what i looked up if he dynoed fri the 14th a little around 2pm, would of been around -1400 da. But thats using 30* air, and not heated shop air which he was probably seeing..
Dam wish their was a way to have a track open this time of year around here..
