well ive been thinking on swapping my 4 speed tranny to a 6 speed. but first i wanna ask some questions is there good gains by doing the swap? what all do i need to modify to make the 6l80 fit in my 07 nnbs crewcab?

 

Search for Iamkenniff. He's the only one on here I can think of that's done the swap.

For the cost of the convertion,money better spent would be on cubic inches, if going faster is what you ment by "GAINS"

550rwhp and less with the right tune i dont see the 6spd being a bad option. 575+ you better hope it holds up in a brick. I do not abuse my truck, i make a few passes and im done. I make 400rwhp with mine and its fun to drive. Search for my thread it gives you a list of parts and what i used. I recommend you use a harness from a 2007 denali to keep you from changing sensor plugs and stuff like i had to.
