Default 4.8 throttle

A quick question
2007 Sierra ECSB 4.8 2wd
Magnaflow si/do dumped / KN CAI
What do i need to get a better throttle response? Do i just need to get it tuned or a larger Tb or both?

Thank you

Port the tb ( theres a HUGE lip that improves the snappiness a lot when its gone ) and get a tune. Start there and go

I think I'd be looking at 4.10s if I was you. Some guys on here have reported better mileage with that. The stock gearing is set up to do well on the computer-simulated drive that the manufacturers have to do for their EPA rating and "Corporate Average Fuel Economy." Has nothing to do with real world.

If you're most interested in quarter mile times, you could do a converter, but personally I don't like a loose converter on the street.

I hope some 4.8 owners will chime in ....
