Default 4.30's and longtubes?

Been thinking about some OBX long tubes and a set of underdrives with set of 4.30's to finish off my performance mods. Think this would get me in the 13's with a retune from wheatley and a set of DR's?

4:30s and a tru-trac correct?
the OBx well fall short as far as the Y pipe IMHO. id go with pacesetter LTs that are 1 3/4" with 3" Y. thats what i run on my CC, LOVE them.

whats the truck run now? 14.7-14.9 depending weather/traction?

1 3/4 seems way to big for a 5.3 don't you think Ken?

Hey Preston if you do the LTs and need help let me know. 1 3/4 with 3" Y is a little much for the 5.3l. Should be getting truck back from the body shop this week and getting my wheels tomorrow. Picked up a Snuglid and Bedrug from Kevin so i should have some pics of everything after i install them this weekend and ill post em up.

how in the hell is it a "little much" for a "5.3" you know how many people run 1 3/4" with 3" exhaust? i ran them when i had my 5.3 still, and a MILLION other people are running 1 3/4" with 3"

if he was to say i want to run 1 7/8" with dual 3" on a STOCK 5.3 then yes, that's a lot more than a STOCK 5.3 needs.

buy the 1 3/4" with 3" Y and never look back.

Lol yea sorry was thinking 1 7/8 for some reason even though it clearly says 1 3/4 and i even replied 1 3/4. Dont know where my head was. 1 3/4 is fine with 3" exhaust. I even have 1 3/4 on my own truck lol.

It's better to eliminate the mis-information before it gets out of hand.
