Default 4:11 or 4:56 with 29" tire??

I have an 09 Silverado 2 door shortbed and it has factory 3:73 gears and G80. Im looking to install 4:10's or 4:56 gears. My mods are down below and plan on installing a TBSS converter. I daily drive my truck but its mostly city. What do you recommend?

4:10s i think the 4:56s will be too much for a DD on a 29" tire

well im running a 32" tire, with heavy 22's, and i have 4:56's. honestly, i am getting better mileage in town now, than with the 3:42's. but on the interstate i lost some mpg, but its a lot more fun with the lower gear.

i say if you want a overall good gear go with 4:10, if you want to have a little more fun, and drive mostly around town, then go 4:56's.

you also need to keep in mind your future plans for the truck, are you going F/I? OR N/A? these decisions play a role in what gear you go with...

I like my motive 4.30's for a good compromise between the two. My 20's are 29.4" and the 17"s i run are 31.61".

between 410s and 456s. i would say the 410s but with a 29" tall tire i would do what dezert1500 said and go 390s

I should note. The only thing I don't like with my 20"s on is that I run out of 2nd gear by 75. Plan to buy 275/55/20s next time for the extra distance

I love low gears but 4.56s and 29s at highway speeds will suck.
