Default 3m adhesive remover

Any of you guys use 3m adhesive remover to remove pin stripes and emblems? I used it to remove my pin stripe and the wind was blowing which got some overspray on my mirrors.. They black plastic now has like white overspray on it and I cant seem to get it off.. Worse case scenario I have to buy new mirrors but was wondering if you guys had this happen and if so what did you use to remove it??

I use the adhesive remover from Oreillys'. Its not 3m though. Its in a blue can. It works better than any other removers out there imo.

These will work but more pain than needed.

3M eraser wheel. Go to a local Auto parts store and get one or google it and order it on line.

+1 on the wheel. Parts stores sell an aircraft grade adhesive remover that is a nice help as well.

for removing the emblems, i just used fishing line and worked my way around the emblem. doesn't take long at all. then use goo gone to clean up any residue or stuck on adhesive. then clay bar to get all the goo gone off the paint. followed by wax. too easy!!

for removing overspray, try going to town with a claybar

I think you guys misunderstood me.. I got what I needed off by using 3m adhesive remover BUT in the process of using it some of it got on the black plastic of my mirror and now they have white spots on them.. I cant get the white spots off of my mirror plastic..
